Our school aims to reduce food waste in order to ease the burden of landfill. The Food Waste Conversion System turns about 37kg food waste into 50L fertilizers per month. Food waste collected form each floor will be put into the food waste recycling machine. With the help of the decomposing bacteria, food waste will be decomposed for the conversion into organic compost. Unlike the solid compost produced by the traditional Food Waste Recycling Machine, our Food Waste Conversion System produces liquid fertilizers which can be directly used to irrigate the plants.
