I recall a teacher's invaluable advice to a classmate who felt overshadowed by others' academic success. He gently pointed out that everyone has their own strengths to develop. So never underestimate yourself. This taught me Not everyone excels right away in their learning. Some students may find certain subjects challenging at first, but with consistent effort and practice, their strengths gradually emerge. Improvement takes time, and often, those who persevere end up discovering talents and abilities they never knew they had. Instead of doubting ourselves, we should actively look for ways to improve and pursue them with passion.
Dear students, believe in yourselves. Your abilities and worth are not defined by grades or by others’ expectations. What truly matters is giving your best in every moment, cherishing your time at OLR, and appreciating the dedication of your teachers. Through this journey, you will grow into the values of purity, charity, perseverance, and responsibility—qualities that will help you discover your strengths and stay hopeful for the future. Keep going and may you always remember the unique light that shines within you.
